A fun filled night with David Gimeno from Bodegas Aragonesas. We had a delicious 5 course meal that included a grilled octopus salad, oxtail crepes, and some really good chocolate empanadas! We enjoyed a very nice but unusual chardonnay from spain, very crisp and bright with no oak. The middle part of the dinner featured 3 wines all blends of the same amount of garnacha and tempranillo. Each one had a different age to it and the differences between them were really interesting to experience from one to another to another. We finished the night off with a delicious red that was 100% garnacha from vines older than 100 years (hence the centenaria label). Despite David being somewhat soft spoken, his wines were not, and they were gracious contributors to the evenings’ conversation!
