Introducing Kristine Snellenburg, the new Equestrian Director We would like to welcome to Oldfield our new Equestrian Director Kristine Snellenburg who has relocated from the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. Kristine grew up on the Eastern end of Long Island, NY, riding Hunter Seat Equitation and Fox Hunting. She obtained a Liberal Arts degree from Pace University, with a Psychology and Equine concentration. During her time at Pace she competed on the Equestrian Team and qualified for the Intercollegiate Nationals four consecutive years. She also competed in the ladies hunter seat sidesaddle at the prestigious National Horse Show. Kristine received her instructor’s teaching certificate along with an ABRS teaching and management certificate. Working in the Hampton’s, Kristine took clients to horse shows and one-day events. A big believer in always learning more, she trained with several Olympians. Kristine can train all ages and all levels of horses and riders to accomplish their goals. Offering instruction for hunter/jumper, dressage, eventing, horsemanship, English and western riding lessons, breaking, training and consulting. She welcomes the community to come by the barn for a visit or maybe even take a lesson or trail ride around our beautiful Oldfield Club.
