For some, a day on the water is not complete without wetting a line. Here’s my top picks for July fishing options! If plenty of action and excitement are what you’re looking for an inshore shark fishing trip will fit the bill nicely. These excursions are typically 4 to 6 hours in length but can shortened to 2 hours to accommodate groups with children who may not be up for a longer trip. Due to the quick action and short ride to the fishing grounds a shark trip is the perfect way to introduce kids to saltwater fishing. For experienced anglers looking for variety and adventure an offshore bottom fishing trip is a must. During the summer months our offshore live bottom areas located 35 to 45 miles offshore teem with a variety of gamefish including snapper, grouper, sea bass, triggerfish, ba- rracuda, amberjack, and king mackeral. Not only will you will you catch fish until your arms are sore, you’ll bring home plenty of fresh fish for the grill or frying pan! If you’d like give this type of fishing a try you may want to consider signing up for my offshore bottom fishing group trip on July 29th!
