Resources include information on native plants for South Carolina landscapes, composting, rain barrels, a list of eco-friendly cleaners and lawn & garden products, backyard wildlife enhancements, recycling and more. Want to learn more about planting native plants in your yard? How about learning more about vegetable and herb gardening? You’re in luck! We have partnered with the Coastal Shores Landscaping Director of Premium Service, Zach Yelton, to provide two informative talks at Oldfield. Zach has a degree in Science, Horticulture, & Landscape Design from the Auburn University College of Agriculture and many years of experience in the horticulture industry. We will be hosting two separate talks; one focused on planting native plants in your yard to enhance wildlife habitat and one focused on vegetable and herb gardening information and tips. Be sure to join us for “Gardening Talk” on November 11th at 2:00PM and for Planting Native for Wildlife on November 19th at 10:00AM!
